Guidelines for Thesis | Theoretical and Practical Issues of Chess Education in Schools

The thesis must meet the following requirements: it should be prepared in a MS Word document, font for Armenian - “Sylfaen”, for English - “Times New Roman”, text font size should be 12 point, heading – 14 point, number of pages are limited to 1-2 pages, margins from all sides should be 20mm, line spacing – 1, it should contain no diagrams and graphics. Heading of the thesis should be written in bold and UPPER CASE letters. One blank line should be left between the heading and the first line of the main text. File of the thesis should be named according the following principle: First name-Surname-title of the thesis, e.g.: "John-Mayer-The impact of chess on children's cognitive development".

Thesis should be submitted in Armenian or English.

The thesis must be sent by August 10, 2016. The authors will be informed about the decision of the Academic Board by August 25, 2016. After confirmation the authors will be asked to send the complete article. The conference organizers will cover the costs of accommodation with full-board and transportation within Armenia of the authors of approved articles (the information about travel costs will be provided soon after some financial issues are clarified).

Guidelines for Complete Article

The complete article must meet the following requirements: it should be prepared in a MS Word document, font - “Times New Roman”, text font size should be 12 point, heading – 14 point, number of pages are limited to 6-8 pages, margins from all sides should be 20mm, line spacing – 1. Heading of the complete article should be written in bold and UPPER CASE letters. One blank line should be left between the heading and the first line of the main text. Include a page header at the top of every page. File of the complete article should be named according the following principle: First name-Surname-title of the thesis, e.g.: "John-Mayer-The impact of chess on children's cognitive development".

The complete article should include four major sections: the Title Page, Abstract, Main Body and References.

The complete article should be submitted in English.

The complete article must be sent by September 25, 2016.
